MODELHUNT INTERNATIONAL FASHION INTERNSHIP

ModelHunt International, launched in Spring 2019, offers several fashion internship opportunities located in Los Angeles, California, and partly in Tucson, Arizona, during Spring and summer 2020. These internships are designed to give interns an inside look at the fashion industry in Los Angeles, California. Internships are for school credit and are available for one (1) to three (3) credits. Depending on the position students select, students are able to experience first-hand what it takes to put together a model competition and fashion show. 

There are three categories in which the student may select for their internship. In each category, the interns selected will be tasked to creating creative digital and/or social media campaigns, working under the direction of the supervisor from each category. The intern will also report to the media director to get set up with the social and digital media accounts.

CREATIVE INTERNSHIP

Fashion & Beauty Team

CREATIVE INTERNSHIP
CREDITS: 1 – 3 UNITS
LOCATION: LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

OPTIONS:

Creative Interns will be able to select to either work with the Beauty Director or be a Intern Stylist, working with the ModelHunt stylists during photoshoots, challenges, and the finals. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interns (2) will work closely with the Beauty Team for ModelHunt International, working with world-class stylists and the beauty and fashion director for ModelHunt International. 

For this internship position, students will report to and shadow the Beauty Team and learn how to properly create social media campaigns that help promote the beauty and fashion brands, photoshoots and challenges throughout the summer and at the finals on July 18 & 19.

The intern will learn proper techniques in selecting and working with fashion brands, stylists, and hair and make-up artists. During the finals on July 18 & 19, the intern will work backstage as an assistant model coordinator, serving as a liaison between the production team in the front of the house and the Beauty & Fashion Team in the back. 

Other duties and tasks will be determined between the intern and their supervisor to best enhance the educational experience of the students selected for the internship.

PRODUCTION INTERNSHIP

Learn the ins and Outs of the Fashion Industry

PRODUCTION INTERNSHIP 
CREDITS: 1 – 3 UNITS
LOCATION: LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Intern (1) selected for this position will work closely with Errol Isip, the executive producer and founder for ModelHunt International, learning from one of the best event producers and event choreographers in the industry. 

In this internship, the intern will work closely with Mr. Isip to learn about the ins-and-outs of fashion event choreography and model casting. The intern will work closely with Mr. Isip to craft a professional social media campaign that will showcase the behind-the-scenes aspects of ModelHunt. 

Other duties and tasks will be determined between the intern and their supervisor to best enhance the educational experience of the students selected for the internship.

MEDIA INTERNSHIP

MEDIA INTERNSHIP

Video Production & Photography

MEDIA INTERNSHIP 
CREDITS: 1 – 3 UNITS
LOCATION: TUCSON, ARIZONA AND LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Intern (2) selected for this position will work closely with Davis de Dios Media, the co- producers and visual leads for ModelHunt International. The interns may choose to work with either the video side or the photography side from the visual team. 

The Video intern will work closely with the video director for ModelHunt International. The selected intern will work under the supervision of the video director, getting an introduction to video editing and storytelling, along with assisting during video production during casting, trainings, photoshoots and the finals. 

• Experience required: Some video editing experience using Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro

• Photo intern will work under the supervision of the Director of Photography for ModelHunt International. The selected intern will help coordinate with the other members of the photo team for ModelHunt International, especially during the photoshoots and photo challenges and take charge of creating a supplemental social media campaign using BTS images and images from the photoshoots and challenges. 

Other duties and tasks will be determined between the intern and their supervisor to best enhance the educational experience of the students selected for the internship.

GENERAL INTERNSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • The internship is related to an educational purpose and there is no guarantee or expectation that the activity will result in employment with the Company. 

  • The education received by the Intern from the internship is for the express benefit of the Intern. 

  • The Intern does not replace or displace any employee of the Company. 

  • The Intern will receive direct and close supervision by an appropriate supervisor. 

  • The Company does not derive an immediate advantage from the activities performed by the Intern. 

  • Intern is not entitled to wages or any compensation or benefits for the time spent in the internship. 

  • Company is not liable for injury sustained or health conditions that may arise for the unpaid intern during the course of the internship. 

The intern specifically agrees to and acknowledges the following: 

  • This internship is educational in nature and there is no guarantee or expectation that the internship will result in employment. 

  • Company may at any time in its sole discretion, terminate the internship without notice or cause. 

  • Intern will maintain a regular internship schedule determined by the Intern and their supervisor. 

  • Intern will demonstrate honesty, punctuality, courtesy, cooperative attitude, proper health and grooming habits, appropriate dress and a willingness to learn. 

  • Intern will obey the policies, rules and regulations of the Company site and comply with the Company’s business practices and procedures. 

  • Intern will furnish his/her supervisor with all necessary information pertaining to the unpaid internship, including related assignments and reports. 

  • Under no circumstances will Intern leave the internship without first conferring with Intern’s supervisor. 

  • Transportation to and from the internship site is the responsibility of the Intern. 

  • While Intern is on the Company premises, he/she is considered an employee or agent of Company for any purposes, including but not limited to worker’s compensation. 

Intern assumes all of the risks of participating in the internship program. In consideration of the opportunity afforded to the Intern to participate in the internship program, Intern hereby agrees that he/she, his/her assignees, heirs, guardians, and legal representatives, will not make a claim against Company or any of its affiliated organizations, or either of their officers or directors collectively or individually, or any of its employees, for the injury or death to Intern or damage to his/her property, however caused, arising from his/her participation in the internship program. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing. Intern hereby waives and releases any rights, actions, or causes or action resulting from personal injury or death to him/her, or damage to his/her property, sustained in connection with his/her participation in the internship program. 

Interns understand that this unpaid, learning experience is not employment and that Intern is not entitled to wages or a promise of employment at the completion of the unpaid structured learning experience.
